The CERN Mutual Aid Fund – https://hr.web.cern.ch/mutual-aid-fund – is a commission that provides financial assistance to people who are temporarily in difficulty.
As well as the CERN Staff members, CERN beneficiaries of the Pension Fund and their dependent family members may apply to this fund.
All requests are treated in strict confidence by the Commission, which endeavours to provide all possible assistance.

The Mutual Aid Fund Regulations have been reviewed for purposes of clarification and updating of the governance structure.
The Revised regulations were approved in September 2024: regulations.
