Deceased Members of the GAC-EPA or Pension Fund
Note: this list contains only names known to the GAC-EPA.
If a person who was a beneficiary1 of the Pension Fund is known to have died but does not appear in the list it may be that he/she died before our record taking or that the data is not publicly available – usually at the request of the family. Furthermore, only beneficiaries1 appear on this list, such as surviving spouses who are listed under the status ‘CERN Family’ or ‘ESO Family’.
1 Article I 1.06 Beneficiaries of the Fund
Any person receiving a benefit from the Fund in application of the Rules, with the exception of a transfer value or an ex-gratia benefit, is a beneficiary of the Fund. A deferred retirement pension is a benefit.
